Live animals at the Education Center at Nockamixon State Park
Live animals are coming to the Education Center!
Delaware Valley College students will be bringing live reptiles to the Education Center on May 9 between 6 pm and 8 pm. Come anytime between 6 and 8 to see and learn about a variety of snakes, turtles and lizards. Families and anyone interested in live animals will enjoy a spring evening at the Education Center. This program is FREE!
Also, the schedule for National Get Outdoors Day on June 9 is starting to come together. We will be having a Family Fishing Program, a Hike to Haycock Mountain, geocache loaner program, kid’s activities, pontoon boat tours, kayak demonstrations and a live musical performance at noon! Mark the date on your calendar to come enjoy all these fun, FREE, activities at Nockamixon.

Flint Hill Farm Open House

- Horse drawn hay rides
- Pony Rides

- Cheese making demo with Chef Eric
- Horse shoe demonstration with Farrier Pete Sanchez
- Music by Godfrey Daniels Band

Allentown Trade-O-Ree

Scouting Memorabilia – Buy/Sell/Trade/Browse
Location: Jordan Lutheran Church, 5103 Snowdrift Rd., Orefield, PA 18069
Witauchsoman Lodge #44 & Heritage Collection Committee of the Minsi Trails Council are hosting the 13th annual Allentown Trade-O-Ree. Scouting Memorabilia will be available to Buy, Sell, Trade, and/or Browse. A patch trading area will be available for youth. Witauchsoman Lodge #44 will be selling their patches and OA merchandise as well. There will also be a display by the Heritage Collection Committee.
Admission is $2.00 per person. Youth Scouts in uniform will be admitted FREE. Food and refreshments will be available for purchase. Tables are available for $20.00 each. Table set-up begins at 8:00 a.m.
